Female Educator Charged With S*xual Assault of a Student

MISSION, TX — Samantha Lee Carranza, a secretary for the assistant principal at Sharyland High School, was formally charged on Friday and entered a not-guilty plea in connection with allegations of engaging in sexual acts with a student last year. Mission Texas is located on the Southern Texas Border in the Rio Grande Valley area fifteen miles West of McAllen.

Carranza faces charges of improper relationship between an educator and a student, sexual assault of a child, and indecency with a child's sexual contact, according to official records.

The incident came to light on September 1, 2023, when an officer received information that a 16-year-old student wished to file a police report. Accompanied by the officer, the student expressed reluctance to be seen by a "teacher" present in the assistant principal’s office, as per an affidavit.

The student said that during the lunch period on August 31, 2023, he visited the assistant principal’s office to borrow a cellphone charger. Approaching Carranza, the assistant principal’s secretary, he requested to borrow a charger, to which she consented.

Carranza suggested the student remain in the conference room a few feet from her desk to charge his phone. During this time, Carranza allegedly initiated a discussion about her personal life and proceeded to show the student a photo of her breasts on her cellphone.

As per the affidavit, "[The student] explains that he started walking towards the door of the conference room, and [Carranza] proceeds to close the door and tells him ‘you’re not going anywhere.’”

The student reported that Carranza pulled the strings of his hoodie towards him, touched his private areas, and engaged in sexual acts. Additionally, the document claims that Carranza threatened the student, warning him against disclosing the encounter.

Following the investigation, Carranza turned herself in to Mission police on September 15. She was subsequently booked into Hidalgo County Jail, with her bond set at $10,000. Carranza is expected to face a trial, and legal proceedings are underway.

Somewhere, some ugly bastard with a law degree and a good name is lamenting that he has to take a flight just to pay a hooker twice the normal rate while this degenerate is giving herself to kids.
