Drug Dealer Indicted for Moving Over 100 Grams of Meth

SAN ANGELO — Adrien Garcia, 18, of San Angelo, has been indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury for allegedly distributing methamphetamine.

According to court documents, Garcia was arrested on January 20, 2024, after a traffic stop conducted by a Tom Green County Sheriff’s Deputy at the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and West 19th Street in San Angelo.

During the stop, Garcia, identified as the driver of a red Ford Explorer, admitted to having marijuana in his possession. Upon further inspection, deputies discovered jeweler baggies containing a large crystal-like substance suspected to be methamphetamine.

A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed additional quantities of the substance, along with a digital scale and empty jeweler bags.

Following the arrest, Garcia was transported to the Tom Green County Jail, where the substance found in his possession tested positive for methamphetamine. The combined weight of the substance from the bags was recorded at 110.77 grams, including packaging.

Garcia was booked into the Tom Green County Jail on January 20, 2024, and was released on February 8, 2024, after posting a $21,500 bond. A jury trial has been scheduled for September 9, 2024.
