TLCA Student Who Made Threat Now Suspended

SAN ANGELO, TX - The student from TLCA who was part of a threat to the school has been suspended.

Another statement was released by the school at 5 p.m. today, May 6.

The information released stated that the student “will not be allowed back on campus.”

“We are taking this situation very seriously, and have moved forward with the expulsion process,” the statement read. “We have a zero-tolerance policy for this kind of behavior. To our parents and guardians, we appreciate your understanding and support as we have been cooperating with SAPD throughout the investigation process.”

We reported earlier that two minors, one a student at TLCA are to blame for the threat to the school that happened on Sunday.

The original statement from the school stated that the San Angelo Police Department found that two minors decided it would be “fun to do a prank.”

One of them, who lives in another community, influenced the other to make a post with what looked like a firearm.

The investigation provided evidence that this was not a firearm, and the one minor who attends TLCA lived in a home with no firearms.

The base should send some fighter jets to fly low above the schools and hit the kids with a sonic boom, just to make a point. Maybe fire a missile or two at one of the abandoned school buildings.
