Disgusting Perv Jailed for Possessing Graphic Lewd Images of Children

SAN ANGELO, TX — A San Angelo man has been arrested for possessing child pornography that involved children as young as 2 years old.

Sammy Ray Soto, 56, was arrested by the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday, Oct. 7.

According to court documents, Google became aware on Sept. 17 of images containing suspected child pornography being uploaded using their service. Google reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that Soto had uploaded 80 images of the lewd content.

Another cyber tip regarding Soto was investigated and provided that on Sept. 16, Soto has uploaded 157 images to Google. A search warrant was submitted to Google for the stored media files and subscriber information to which Google returned that the account owner was Soto.

The investigator located 364 images of child pornography in total with children ranging in ages from 2 to 9, some of which were forced into sex acts with adults.

Soto was arrested on Oct. 7, 2025, and was booked into the Tom Green County Jail. He is being held on $150,000 bond.
