Man Arrested in San Angelo on Child Pornography Warrant

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office and San Angelo Police Department SWAT team arrested a man Monday after executing a child pornography search warrant in the 4400 block of Travis Street.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies gathered digital evidence and a firearm from the residence during the search. The occupant, identified as Andrew Moreno, 44, was arrested on multiple charges, including indecency with a child, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of child pornography, and bail jumping.

Authorities said Moreno has an extensive criminal history and is being held on bonds exceeding $300,000, the sheriff's office stated in a press release. 

The Sheriff’s Office thanked the San Angelo Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service for their assistance in executing the warrant.
