SAN ANGELO, TX — A jury trial is scheduled to begin Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, for Adam Maurice Disiere, who is charged with felony theft in connection with an allegedly unfinished backyard pool project in San Angelo.
Disiere faces a third-degree felony charge of theft of property valued between $30,000 and $150,000, according to Tom Green County court records. Prosecutors allege Disiere unlawfully appropriated tens of thousands of dollars from homeowners by deception while contracted to build a swimming pool and related outdoor features.
The charge stems from a December 2022 contract involving homeowners who reported paying nearly $120,000 toward a $160,200 project that was never completed. Investigators documented that the pool hole was dug but left unfinished for months, filling with water and leaving the backyard severely damaged.
According to a criminal complaint filed by the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office, major components of the project — including the pool itself — were never completed, and construction debris remained on the property.
The couple also claimed a detective with the San Angelo Police Department was conducting an investigation into other allegations against Disiere for an unfinished pool that totaled nearly $80,000 in theft.
A warrant for Disiere’s arrest was signed Jan. 16, 2024, by Eddie Howard, Justice of the Peace for Precinct 4. Bond was set at $200,000.
Court records show the case is pending in the 51st District Court of Tom Green County, with jury selection and trial proceedings scheduled to begin next week.
Disiere is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
