Man Jailed for Sending Intimate Photos in Text and Christmas Card

SAN ANGELO, TX — A San Angelo man has been arrested after authorities say he sent intimate photos to his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend.

Roy Clark, 56, of San Angelo, was arrested on a charge of publishing or threatening to publish intimate visual material.

According to court documents, an investigator was assigned to the case on Dec. 15, 2025, after the victim reported a revenge porn incident involving Clark, with whom she ended a dating relationship about one year earlier.

The victim told investigators that Clark sent several intimate photographs of her and Clark to her new boyfriend via text message around a year ago.

She said she believed Clark sent the images in an attempt to harm her, as the messages caused problems in her new relationship. The victim stated Clark was the only person with access to the photographs.

On Christmas Day 2025, the victim received the same intimate images in a Christmas card. The card had been mailed to the wrong address and was opened by the unintended recipient.

On Dec. 31, 2025, the investigator met with Clark, who allegedly admitted to sending the images to the victim’s boyfriend via text message but denied sending the Christmas card. Clark reportedly said he was upset and sent the photos in the text message.

Clark was arrested on Jan. 2, 2026, and was released the following day after posting a $5,000 bond.
