Pursuit Suspect Turns Himself into Law Enforcement

SAN ANGELO, TX— The suspect involved in the police pursuit this morning has turn himself into law enforcement.

Information from the San Angelo Police Department reads:

"On January 23, 2026, at approximately 8:58 a.m., officers with the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to the 2100 block of North Street in reference to a domestic violence call.

Upon arrival, officers were informed that the suspect, identified as 19-year-old Julian Gaspar, had fled out the back of the residence prior to their arrival. Officers later located Gaspar, who fled in a vehicle and led officers on a brief pursuit. The pursuit was terminated after officers lost sight of the vehicle.

The vehicle was later located at a residence on Nueces Drive. Officers established a perimeter and made entry into the residence; however, Gaspar had fled the location prior to officers surrounding the home.

Gaspar has since turned himself in at the Tom Green County Jail where he has been booked for multiple charges stemming from this event. Further charges are pending and this incident is still under investigation."
