SAN ANGELO, TX — San Angelo police arrested three people early Wednesday following a shots-fired report that led to a vehicle pursuit.
Taken into custody were Cameron Anderson, 18; Michael Gutierrez, 18; and a 15-year-old male. They face charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and evading arrest in a motor vehicle, according to a San Angelo Police Department news release.
Officers were dispatched about 1 a.m. to the shots-fired call. Dispatch information indicated the suspect vehicle had fled the scene. Responding officers located a vehicle matching the description traveling without headlights and attempted a traffic stop. The vehicle failed to stop, and a pursuit was initiated and authorized.
The occupants were detained without incident in the 1700 block of Hassell Street.
The San Angelo Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division continues to investigate. No additional information will be released.
