San Angelo Man Makes Headlines in Wisconsin

SAN ANGELO, TX — A San Angelo man made the papers in Wisconsin this weekend.

Don’t expect a parade.

Paul Zuniga, 37, got popped just after 3 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 39/90 in Dane County after a state trooper watched his vehicle drift out of its lane, according to Wisconsin State Patrol and WKOW in Madison.

Troopers from the DeForest Post pulled him over, spotted possible signs he was impaired, ran an OWI investigation, and hauled him in around 3:22 a.m.

The kicker: authorities say it’s his fourth OWI.

WKOW and Channel 3000 first reported the arrest. Wisconsin State Patrol hasn’t put out much else beyond the stop and the fourth-offense charge.
