San Angelo Man Sentenced for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child

SAN ANGELO, TX — A 19-year-old man pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child younger than 14 and was sentenced to 10 years in prison on each count Wednesday, according to Tom Green County court records.

Jessie Lee Brock III entered the guilty pleas before 340th District Court Judge Jay Weatherby. The charges are first-degree felonies.

Court records list the offense date for both counts as April 6, 2025. Brock was booked into the Tom Green County Jail at 10:25 a.m. Wednesday by the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office on the charges, with no bond set at this time, according to the sheriff’s office.

He received 16 days of jail credit. Confinement was ordered to begin Wednesday in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Court records show Brock was indicted in April 2026.

Additional orders entered Wednesday included sex offender registration requirements, an order committing him to jail, and a mandate sent to the sheriff. The case was marked disposed.
