Angelo State University Dealing with COVID-19 on Campus

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Angelo State University reported on Tuesday a number a new coronavirus cases including two staff members. 

According to the Angelo State COVID-19 dashboard, as of September 29, 69 students and 17 staff members have tested positive for coronavirus since returning this fall. 

Currently there are 23 students and 2 staff members who have COVID-19.

"Angelo State University will keep in direct communication with faculty, staff and students who have tested positive to help them through this challenging time," stated Angelo State on the dashboard. "Additionally, the university and associated health officials will work diligently to identify and inform all individuals who may have been in contact with Angelo State community members confirmed or suspected with COVID-19 to assist in preventing and minimizing the spread of this disease."

Students, staff, and visitors are required to fill out a screening prior to coming to campus to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

With a lot of the bars opening, restaurants able to seat more people, school athletics and games starting, more and more people are gathering in places......
