Some Concho Valley Schools Already Canceling Classes Monday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Several schools from around the San Angelo area have already canceled classes Monday — with some also planning on late starts Tuesday — due to freezing conditions this weekend.

Temperatures are expected to plunge into the 20s and below this weekend, including single digits at night, and possible snow is in the forecast Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Here’s a list of the schools in the Concho Valley and their status for classes next week:

  • Brady - School canceled Monday.

  • Mason - 10 a.m. start Monday

  • Water Valley - School canceled Monday, 10 a.m. start Tuesday

  • Robert Lee - School canceled Monday, 10 a.m. start Tuesday

  • Bronte - School canceled Monday, 10 a.m. start Tuesday

  • Menard - 10 a.m. start Monday

  • Lohn - School canceled Monday

  • Rochelle - School canceled Monday
