Another Texan Wins $1 Million, Still No Jackpot Winner

 

TYLER, TX — Another Texan won a piece of the MegaMillions Lottery on the drawing on Friday, August 4. A ticket was purchased at a Super Food Mart in Tyler, Texas, located at 2030 W. Gentry Parkway, according to the Texas Lottery website.

The winning lottery ticket, worth $1 million, and one of seven $1 million winners in the Match Five category from across the county. There was no Jackpot winner in the drawing on Friday. The winning numbers were 11, 30, 45, 52, 56, and 20 for the Mega Ball.

The grand prize rose to $1.55 billion (estimated $762 million in winnings) after no winning ticket was found. The next drawing for the ever-growing pile of cash will be held on Tuesday, August 8, at 10 p.m. If no one wins again, this number will continue to increase. 

The next Mega Millions jackpot of an estimated $1.55 billion will be the largest Mega Millions prize ever and the third-largest lottery prize overall. A ticket sold in downtown Los Angeles won the $1.08 billion Powerball jackpot last month.
