Mitchell County's Only Coronavirus Patient Makes Full Recovery

SWEETWATER, TX – The only patient in Mitchell County that was diagnosed with the Coronavirus has fully recovered. 

As previously reported, on Mar. 31, the Mitchell County Health Department confirmed that they had their first Coronavirus case. 

The patient was a female in her 60s. It is unclear how the patient got into contact with the virus but she had been quarantined since receiving a positive test result. 

According to KTXS, after being symptom free for longer than 7 days, the Mitchell County Hospital has declared her fully recovered.

Mitchell County no longer has any confirmed cases.
