Officials Refuse to Name Nursing Home with Positive Coronavirus Case

 

ODESSA, TX – Odessa has confirmed the first coronavirus case inside of a nursing home but officials are refusing to release the name of the facility. 

According to the Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, on April 14, a patient from a local nursing home was taken into the hospital with COVID-19 symptoms.

The following day doctors confirmed the patient tested positive for the coronavirus. 

Odessa County officials are now refusing to name which nursing home the the patient came from to protect their identity. 

As soon as the test came back positive officials claim they immediately reported it to the Ector County Health Department.
