Coronavirus: Jones County Confirms 4th Positive Case

ANSON, TX – County Judge Dale Spurgin has confirmed a fourth case of coronavirus in Jones County.

According to KTXS, the patient is a woman in her 70s and the source of exposure is being investigated.

Judge Sprugin is asking citizens to stop calling 9-1-1-for information regarding confirmed cases. The information that is being requested is not public information and the calls cause dispatchers to be distracted from emergency calls.

"State law dictates that this information is confidential and not public information," said Spurgin.
