City Releases Weekly COVID-19 Graphics While Shannon Ensures Hospital Bed Space

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The City of San Angelo released graphics for the weekly coronavirus report late Friday. 

According to the City of San Angelo's Health Department, on July 24, there have been 1,875 positive cases of COVID-19. 

Of those 773 are currently active. 987 of the 1,875 have been released. 313 have been released this week. 18 people have died from Coronavirus complications. 

Overall there have been 215 hospitalized by the virus and there are 43 in hospital right now. 10 are in the ICU. 

Officials have tested 12,043 individuals and 9,180 of them have come back negative. 51.1 percent of patients are Hispanic, 25.4 percent are White, 3.1 percent are Black, 3 percent are other, and the remaining 17.4 percent are still pending. 52.5 percent of the patients are female while 47.5 percent are male. 

Also Shannon Medical Center confirmed that there are a number of ICU, Hospital Beds, and Ventilators available despite the report made by the DSHS earlier Friday.
