Covid-19: Active Infections in Tom Green County in the 50s

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Friday's daily COVID-19 report for Tom Green County revealed another five new positive infections.

According to the City of San Angelo's Public Information Office, on Apr. 23, the San Angelo's Health Department reported another five COVID-19 infections.

That brings Tom Green County's total count since March 2020 to 16,721. There are 119,200 residents in Tom Green County.

One of the positive tests was a PCR test while the other four were antigen tests. 

There are currently five COVID-19 patients in the hospital.

The COVID-19 death toll in San Angelo is 307. 198 fatalities from Tom Green County residents and 109 from out of county. 

There are currently 59 active infections in Tom Green County.
