Over 200 New Covid Infections Confirmed On Thursday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX –– While new Covid-19 infections remain high in San Angelo, the number has decreased from previous days.

According to the San Angelo Health Department, a total of 260 new infections were confirmed on Thursday.

Covid-19 hospitalizations also dropped down to 86 as the active case count remains at 7,446.

Additionally, a new coronavirus-related death has been reported. The patient was identified as a female in her 70s from Tom Green County. The woman was partially vaccinated at the time of her death.

This brings the total death to 499 –– 317 from Tom Green County and 182 from other counties.
