Powerball Jackpot is Over $1 Billion for Saturday's Drawing

SAN ANGELO— The Powerball lottery jackpot has grown to over a Billion, and the next drawing is coming up!

The Powerball jackpot is now up to $1.4 Billion after there were no jackpot winners from Wednesday’s drawing. Just because there weren’t any jackpot winners doesn’t mean that money wasn’t won by some. There were ten tickets worth $1 Million or more, so the numbers on those tickets matched at least five white balls. To win the jackpot, you have to match all five and the red Powerball.

Four tickets sold, two in California and two in Texas, plus three other tickets, sold in Colorado, Pennsylvania, and New York, were worth $1 million and three tickets, sold in Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Texas, hit all five plus the Power Play, which increase the winnings to $2 Million.

Don’t throw out those tickets as they might have won something as 3.2 million tickets were winners in some way. The numbers from Wednesday night’s drawing were:

9 | 35 | 54 | 63 | 64

The red Powerball was 1 and the Power Play was x2.

The next Powerball drawing is Saturday, October 7, 2023, where the estimated cash value of the jackpot is $643.7 Million.
