NWS: Flash Flood Warning Issued for the Concho Valley

 

SAN ANGELO – The National Weather Service office in San Angelo has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Tom Green County until 4:45 p.m. Wednesday. 

According to the NWS, 1 to 2 inches of rain has fallen in the San Angelo vicinity in northern Tom Green County causing street flooding in the city.  Small streams and arroyos are also flooding across the area.  

The storm system is increasing in intensity across the region and drivers are urged to use caution while driving between Sonora and Abilene Wednesday afternoon.
