Tom Green County Burn Ban Lifted

SAN ANGELO – The burn ban in effect for all of Tom Green County was lifted Tuesday morning by the Commissioners Court.

According to County Judge Steve Floyd's office, the burn ban was lifted immediately.

Outdoor burning is now allowed outside the San Angelo city limits until conditions arise to prohibit outdoor burning again.

Commissioners monitor the drought index and seek input from experts on outdoor conditions before making a decision on the burn ban.
