Massive Alligator Spotted Feasting On Texas Beach

SABINE PASS, TX — An unexpected sight awaited a family at Sea Rim State Park in Sabine Pass, Texas, when they encountered a massive alligator lounging and feeding on the beach.

Hunter Ham and his family were driving around the beach at around 4 p.m. last Saturday when they stumbled upon the large reptile enjoying a mid-day meal in the sand.

The unusual beachgoer was caught on video by Ham, who later shared the footage on his social media accounts

Wildlife experts have commented on the rare event, noting that alligators occasionally venture into saltwater environments to cleanse themselves of parasites.
