Flash Floods, Severe Thunderstorms, and Tornado Watch in San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning in effect for the San Angelo area until 7 p.m. 

NWS stated that this is a dangerous and life-threatening situation. Do not attempt to travel unless you are fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation order, information stated. 

 

A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect as well until 5:45 p.m. for destructive baseball-sized hail and winds up to 70 miles per hour. NWS asks to take shelter in a sturdy building, away from windows. People and animals outdoors will be severely injured, information stated.
