Rain Moves Through, More Showers Expected

SAN ANGELO, TX – Scattered showers and chilly temperatures will continue in West Central Texas on Saturday, with rainfall totals reaching up to a quarter inch in some areas.

Highs struggle to break the upper 40s to low 50s.

The National Weather Service reported scattered thunderstorms across the region, expected to taper off by mid to late afternoon. Light southeast winds at 5 to 10 mph added to the chill. Rain chances will temporarily cease after sunset but are forecasted to return after midnight.

A brief warmup is anticipated for Sunday and Monday, with temperatures climbing into the 60s and 70s. However, another cold front is expected Tuesday evening, bringing a sharp drop in temperatures. Lows could dip below freezing Wednesday morning, with a high chance of frost across the region.
