Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued for Tom Green County, 37 Other Texas Counties

SAN ANGELO, TX — The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Tom Green County and 37 other counties across West and Central Texas on Thursday, May 29.

The watch is in effect until 11 p.m. and includes the cities of San Angelo and surrounding areas, with residents advised to remain alert to changing weather conditions throughout the day.

Counties affected by the watch are: Andrews, Borden, Cochran, Coke, Crane, Culberson, Dawson, Ector, Fisher, Gaines, Garza, Glasscock, Hockley, Howard, Irion, Jones, Kent, Loving, Lubbock, Lynn, Martin, Midland, Mitchell, Nolan, Pecos, Reagan, Reeves, Runnels, Scurry, Sterling, Stonewall, Taylor, Terry, Tom Green, Upton, Ward, Winkler, and Yoakum.
