SAN ANGELO, TX — A couple of cold fronts will move through West Texas this weekend and early next week, bringing noticeable temperature swings, according to the National Weather Service in San Angelo.
Highs in San Angelo are expected to stay in the upper 80s and low 90s through Monday before cooling into the lower 80s by midweek, with the exception of this Sunday, where the high is expected to be 82. Overnight lows will range from the upper 50s to low 60s, dipping into the low 50s by Wednesday. Despite the temperature shifts, rain chances remain minimal, with precipitation probabilities below 20% across the region.

The weather service warned that warm, dry, and occasionally breezy conditions could elevate fire danger this weekend. Residents planning outdoor burns are urged to follow local regulations and avoid burning when winds are high or humidity is low.
“Please don’t burn during windy or low-humidity conditions,” the weather service advised.
