SAN ANGELO, TX — Cold conditions will continue through Tuesday across the Concho Valley, with wind chills in the 20s and low 30s each morning before a brief midweek warmup and the arrival of another strong cold front, according to the National Weather Service San Angelo.

Temperatures on Sunday and Monday remain well below normal, with forecast wind chills at sunrise ranging from the upper teens to low 30s across the region. San Angelo’s morning wind chills are expected to stay in the upper 20s to near 30 degrees through Tuesday.

A warmup is expected by Wednesday, when highs climb near 70 degrees ahead of the next cold front. The front is projected to move through late Wednesday or Wednesday night, dropping Thursday’s high into the upper 40s for San Angelo.

Behind the front, rain chances increase Thursday afternoon and Thursday night, with forecast probabilities near 40 percent for much of the region.

Temperatures moderate again by Friday, with highs in the lower 60s and sunny conditions expected into the weekend.
