Seasonable Week Ahead With Slight Chance of Showers Early

 
SAN ANGELO, TX — Seasonable temperatures in the 50s and 60s are forecast across West Central Texas this week, with a slight chance of scattered showers Monday night into Tuesday, mainly south of the Interstate 20 corridor, the National Weather Service said.
 
The chance of precipitation is 20-40%, with the highest probabilities south of I-20. San Angelo has a 20% chance of showers after 3 a.m. Monday night and before noon Tuesday.
 
In San Angelo, Monday will be partly sunny with a high near 60°. Tuesday will see a 20% chance of showers before noon, then partly sunny conditions with a high near 57°. The rest of the week will be dry, with sunny skies and highs ranging from the mid-60s on Wednesday and Thursday to around 60° on Friday through Saturday, climbing to near 67° on Sunday.
 
Lows will generally be in the 30s, dropping to around 30° on Friday night. Across the region, highs will range from the mid-50s to mid-60s through the week, with similar lows in the 30s to low 40s, according to the NWS forecast updated Monday morning. The outlook calls for calm to light winds early in the week, with gusts up to 20 mph possible on Wednesday and Friday.
