WATCH: Tornado Touches Down Outside Fort Stockton Friday

FORT STOCKTON, TX – A tornado touched down in Pecos County Friday afternoon.

In the video above, posted on social media on June 2, 2023, the tornado is shown passing through Pecos County.

The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Warning for that area earlier. Here in the Concho Valley, a Tornado Watch has been issued for Sterling, Crockett, Irion and Reagan Counties.

The tornado is a part of a line of storms that is moving east. It is not expected to hit Tom Green County until after 8 p.m.
