President Biden Delivers Remarks for January 6th Anniversary

WASHINGTON D.C. –– As the country remembers the events that took place on January 6th of last year, Vice President Harris and President Biden delivered remarks from the Stautory Hall inside the U.S Capitol building.

"For the first time in our history, a President had not just lost an election. He tried to prevent the peaceful transfer of power as a violent mob reached the Capitol," said Biden. "But they failed. They failed. And on this day of remembrance, we must make sure that such an attack never, never happens again."

The speeches by the president and vice president will kick off a full day of commemorations including a moment of silence held on the House Floor, recounting of events from congressional representatives, and a candlelight vigil held at the National Mall.

“At this moment we must decide what kind of nation we are going to be,” said Biden. “Are we going to be a nation that accepts political violence as a norm? Are we going to be a nation where we allow partisan election officials to overturn the legally expressed will of the people? Are we going to be a nation that lives not by the light of the truth but in the shadow of lies? We cannot allow ourselves to be that kind of nation.”

What happened on Jan. 6, has been blown so incredibly far out of proportion by the left and the media. They're doing all they can to paint freedom loving Americans as terrorists and a violent angry mob. Sure, there may have been some troublemakers, and that's what the media wants you to see. Notice how they never show the other million or so folks standing around praying for our country and singing the national anthem? No, because that doesn't fit their narrative or agenda. There were so many bad state actors involved in that ordeal it's not even funny. Please folks, wake up. The media is the enemy of the people. The media called the burning of cities over George Floyd mostly peaceful protests and people of all races and religions standing around together singing and praying outside the capital building the most horrible thing that has ever happened. Please someone tell me I'm not alone in this. Look into the Ashli Babbit shooting being a staged hoax. Look into the people being let in by capital police. Look into Nancy Pelosi not allowing the national guard and blocking access to the house records for that day. PLEASE DONT USE GOOGLE OR DUCK DUCK GO FOR YOUR RESEARCH. FYI I'm not a republican, and I'm not an idiot. What I am is a critical thinker and someone that can see the big picture. Waking up to the fact that your government doesn't give two squats about you might be painful for some of you but trust me, you can do it. You're all just useless eaters to them.
