Congressman Pfluger Joins the Subcommittee for Energy, Climate, and Grid Security

WASHINGTON, DC — U.S. Congressman August Pfluger (TX-11) announced Wednesday that he will serve on the Subcommittee for Energy, Climate, and Grid Security on the House Energy and Commerce Committee under the leadership of Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) and Subcommittee Chair Jeff Duncan (SC-03).

“I am thrilled to learn that I will sit on the Energy Subcommittee within the Energy and Commerce Committee. Our new Republican majority understands that we are not in an energy transition, we are in an energy expansion." Pfluger said.  "This subcommittee will drill down into debates on smart energy policy to support the Permian Basin and provide relief to all American families who are suffering from skyrocketing energy bills and inflation. I am proud to be the voice for the Permian Basin and the men and women who provide affordable, abundant, and clean energy to the world.”

In addition to the Subcommittee on Energy, Climate, & Grid Security, Congressman Pfluger will also serve on the Subcommittee on Environment, Manufacturing, & Critical Minerals under Chair Bill Johnson (R-OH), and the Subcommittee on Communications & Technology under Chair Bob Latta (R-OH).

Ahh, a politician is gonna resolve the electric grid vulnerabilities. Our problems are solved!    NOT!

Right.  My power went out three times the night before last when nothing significant was going on to impact the grid.  Yeah, in each time it didn't stay out long, but it confused all the clocks and thermostats, tried to hairball my computers (one of them got really confused), and in general was a pain in my aging butt.  I thought back to Abbott's talk about how everything was good now with the grid.

And Pfluger's going to make things better?  Would you buy that for a quarter (from Idiocracy)?

Your “aging butt” aside, wait until democrats finally accomplish their stated goal to do away with fossil fuels ;)
