Stormy Hasn’t Paid Her Property Taxes

SAN ANGELO, TX — During the forum in Christoval last week, candidate for State Rep. for District 72 Stormy Bradley bragged that she was a property owner in Tom Green County.

The resident of Coahoma, who sits on the school board there, appeared to be taking a jab at her opponent, incumbent State Rep. Drew Darby who sold his home in San Angelo recently but still owns a residence in Austin purchased on 2014, according to the Travis County County Appraisal District. The striking difference is that Darby’s property taxes are paid; Bradley has yet to pay her taxes that were due Jan. 31, according to Tom Green County Appraisal District data.

After Bradley bragged she owned property in Tom Green County, politicos in San Angelo took to the Tom Green County Appraisal District website frantically searching for the home. A Coahoma gal running for state rep owned a home in San Angelo! This was news. But no one could find it. After a short investigation we found Bradley’s home, with her ownership obfuscated behind a corporate entity, with a tax bill attached.

Property taxes were due Jan. 31.

A nice Lake Nasworthy home at 1706 Shad Road is owned by B4 Investment Properties, LLC with an address of a steel company in Big Spring where Stormy Bradley is advertised as a member of the company's team. The county records show the lake property was purchased in 2022. Taxes were paid for that year, but remain outstanding for 2023. In total, Bradley’s property has a tax bill due for $6,548.41 for San Angelo ISD, county and city property taxes for 2023, plus penalties.

The CAD allows late payments with penalties increasing dramatically each month the taxes are delinquent. Eventually, if taxes aren’t paid, the property is listed by the Tom Green County Clerk under “Tax Properties and Trustee Sales” for foreclosure.

Bradley’s campaign has also failed to file its campaign finance report that was due on Feb. 5, 2024.

Very confusing article but very informative.

1. Exactly what did she actually say in Christoval?     2. if the property is owned by a corporation how can she owe the taxes unless she owns the LLC? If Darby no longer lives in District 72 does that make him a legal or illegal alien?

Maybe the issue being made about unpaid property taxes is supposed to demonstrate how relatable Bradley is, aside from the visceral positive effect of her healthy figure and amazonian good looks. 🤷‍♂️

I know Darby personally and he has a home in San Angelo. They have been renting a home since they sold their previous home that was mentioned in the article and are currently looking for a new home to purchase. He has been in the region for a long time and no one should have questions regarding if he is creating a persona to run for public office — Contrasted with Stormy D, partaking in some questionable photo shoots, fabricating things like where their kids go to school, and if they actually pay property taxes to our community.
