Groundbreaking Cinch Roping Fiesta Wraps Up Sunday

 

SAN ANGELO – The final day of the 68th annual Cinch Roping Fiesta is underway at the San Angelo fairgrounds and there are still tickets available for the final performance.  

Sunday's events include the steer roping and the double mugging and vendors are open all day.  

Here's the Sunday Schedule: 

10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.- Roping Fiesta Vendor Expo- Foster Communications Coliseum & Housley Communications Cattle Barn- Free Admission

12:00 p.m. start Invitational Steer Roping & Double Mugging- Outdoor Arena - $10 tickets

The roping made history by crowning the winner of the first ever Ladies' Breakaway Roping Saturday.  Congratulations to KC Gail Churchill who is the 2021 Ladies' Breakaway Roping Champion.  

Also Saturday, Cory Solomon claimed the title at the 68th Annual Cinch Roping Fiesta calf roping and Tuf Cooper won the $20,000 winner take all match roping.
