Palmer Feed To Donate $5,000 to ASU Rodeo Team

SAN ANGELO, TX — Palmer Feed has announced a donation of $5,000 to the Angelo State University Rodeo Team.

The official check presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, April 2nd, at 2 p.m., to be held at the ASU Blue Barn located at the SASSRA Fairgrounds.

“We are proud sponsors of this team," Palmer Feed Vice President Bridgett Scott said. “We are excited about the growth of the program. Many of the kids are from local farming and ranching families that have been our customers for years, some for generations. So we have known some of these young people since they were little kids picking up ropes for the first time.”

Information states that Scott is one of many community leaders excited about rodeo as a means for our region's heritage to shape our future.

“Several young Concho Valley natives are having great success at the National Pro Rodeo level right now,” Scott said. “It only makes sense that we and other businesses in our community help ASU to develop the NFR champions of tomorrow.”

Scott and Palmer Feed have been long-time proponents of the development of an ASU Rodeo team. This donation is in addition to ongoing sponsorship and monthly support.
