SAN ANGELO, TX — The annual San Angelo Rodeo Parade is set for April 4, 2026, with organizers inviting participants to submit free entry forms by March 27.
The event, held on the first Saturday of the rodeo, regardless of weather, will kick off the stock show and rodeo with a procession through historic downtown San Angelo. It features riding clubs, antique tractors, wagons, marching bands, and floats.
To participate, entrants must fill out one of several forms: antique entry, float entry, marching entry, riding entry, or wagon and buggy entry. Forms are available on the San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo Association website at sanangelorodeo.com.
Submissions can be made by calling the office at 325-653-7785 or emailing [email protected]. The association reserves the right to approve or refuse any entry, and politically affiliated groups must receive explicit board approval.
The modified parade route, due to construction, for 2026 begins at Irving and Concho streets, proceeds up Oakes Street, turns left onto Twohig, turns right onto Chadbourne, and proceeds to Beauregard, then turns left onto Randolph, proceeds to River Drive, and dismisses.

So PROUD to see West Texas keeping its LGBTQ+ traditions alive! I hope that both the International Gay Rodeo Association AND the New International Gay Rodeo Association will participate!
