SAN ANGELO, TX — The 2026-2027 San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Ambassadors have been chosen.
A couple of weeks ago, the San Angelo Ambassadors held tryouts to fill the team that would represent them at next year's San Angelo Rodeo.
Here are your new ambassadors:
- Kaylee Scott - Captain
- Lyla (Dan) Bates
- Celia Bates
- Tegan Gass
- Addison Graves
- Kaylynn Graves
- Esperanza Martinez
- Jewel Pitcock
- Estelle Skinner
- Reata Strickland
- Klaire Wilde
Celia Bates, Jewel Pitcock and Reata Strickland are new to the team, while Scott takes over captain duties from previous captain Halli Gest. Scott will be entering her fifth year, while Lyla Bates enters her fourth year, Gass her third, and Addison and Kaylynn Graves, Skinner and Martinez are heading into their second year.
You won’t have to wait until the next San Angelo Rodeo to see the Ambassadors in action as they have a few events to perform at in the meantime. Those include:
- Brownwood Rodeo, June 4-6
- Stamford Rodeo, July 1-4
- Sonora Rodeo, Aug. 14-15
- San Angelo Roping Fiesta, Oct. 24-25
Kennedy King continues to teach the San Angelo Ambassadors as the coach. The Ambassador program is under the direction of Misty Wieshuhn and Bridget Carr.
