Premium Sale Hauls in a Record $1.1 Million. Meet the Winners.

SAN ANGELO, TX – The top eight exhibitors of the 91st San Angelo Stock Show took the stage of the 2023 Premium Sale to sell their winning projects Saturday in the Spur Arena. 

In the video above San Angelo LIVE!'s Ryan Chadwick interviews the Grand Champions and Reserve Grand Champions from the livestock show. Of those included two local students; Kash Morgan from Sterling City and Stratley Strube from Wall. 

This year the Premium Sale set a record of $1.19 million. The top earnings went to the winner of the Grand Champion Steer who was Berkley Bird of the Lubbock County 4-H. Her animal fetched $42,000. For more on the buyers of these animals, learn about the "San Angelo Buyers Club" here.
