The band will be also be representing the state of Texas at the 2017 Memorial Day Parade held in Washington D.C. Concessions, Booster sales, and the Donation Drum will be available at the concert which is open for free to the public. The concert will commence at 7:30 p.m.

Update Aug. 20 @ 6:03 p.m.

Due to weather related loss of rehearsal time this morning at the stadium, and with over half of the performance not addressed today, the Welcome Back concert for the Central, Lee and Glenn bands has been rescheduled for Tuesday night, August 23.

This is the normal high school band stadium night, which will provide the students with a more positive experience, said Joey Ashbrook.

Several areas that were cut short this morning would not be able to perform tonight including features of many sections, the Color guard, the Percussion, and the TexAnn Drill team, he said.

"We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but it is the philosophy of the Central HS and feeder systems to provide the highest level and standards of performance," said Ashbrook.
