ASU Hosts Family Day on Sept. 24th

 

San Angelo, TX – On Saturday, Saturday 24, Angelo State University will be hosting Family Day. The day is dedicated to welcome the friends and family of ASU Students.

Family Day will begin at 8 a.m. with “Breakfast with the VP” with Dr. Javier Flores, vice president for student affairs and enrollment management. The event will take place in Plaza Verde.

Families will also have the opportunity to go on “Sibling Tours”, take advantage of the activities offered at the Ben Kelly Center for Human Performance, including climbing the 40-foot indoor rock climbing wall.

Guided tours of San Angelo will also be available to family members starting at 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m. Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore the West Texas Collection.

Tailgating will be begin at 3:30 p.m. at the Ram Jam held at the LeGrand Alumni and Visitors Center. Free food, drinks and a live band will be available. Photo booths, salsa picante contests and Korean traditional games will also be going on at the Ram Jam.

Family Day will end as the Rams football team against ENMU at 6 p.m. at LeGrand Stadium at 1st Community Credit Union Field.
