Small Dog Park Reopens as Hunt Continues for Fugitive Thief

SAN ANGELO, TX – The small dog park on Millbrook in San Angelo is back open just in time for the weekend.

According to the City of San Angelo's Public Information Office, on Jul. 16, the small dog park located on near the intersection of College Hills Ave. and Millbrook Dr. has reopened.

The park was initially closed on Jun. 22 to repair damages that were made on the fence on the south side of the small dog park. For the original story see: San Angelo Small Dog Park Closed for Repair

It was reopened after the damages were dealt with but it did not stay open for long. As reported, on Jul. 12, the park closed again after someone stole the gate to the small dog park.

The city says that the gate has been shipped and a temporary barrier has been set up for the time being.

The City reminds citizens to please contact the police non-emergency number at 325-657-4315 if they see something odd, such as non-City workers taking down a fence or gates.
