Here's How to Help Families Affected by COVID-19 in San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Conexion and the Citizen's Center are partnering up once again to put on their annual food drive.

This will be their third annual food drive. This year will be to honor families who are struggling with COVID-19 losses. 

“Everyone was affected by Covid, we would like to honor all those who lost family and loved ones with this Memorial Food and Fund Drive to benefit the Concho Valley Regional Food Bank," stated Conexion Special Projects in a release.

Locations for drop-off include Downtown San Angelo, Inc. located at 24 W. Concho Ave, Villzap Tax Service, located at1623 S Chadbourne St, The Lone Wolf Bar, located at 115 Paint Rock Rd, Conexion San Angelo, located at 315 W Ave D, and San Angelo Live! located at 2001 W. Beauregard Ave. 

Acceptable donation items:

  • Canned or pouched proteins, for example: tuna, chicken
  • Spam
  • Chili with or without beans
  • Brisket in a pouch
  • Beans
  • Hearty Soups
  • Fruit cups
  • Canned fruit
  • Crackers: peanut butter, cheese, etc.
  • Saltines
  • Granola or breakfast bars
  • Peanut butter
  • Jam or jelly- no glass jars please
  • Cereal all sizes
  • Shelf stable milk
  • Spaghetti sauce
