SAN ANGELO, TX — The 2025 San Angelo Gives event raised a preliminary total of $4,156,822 through 10,567 individual donations, benefiting 266 local organizations across the Concho Valley, according to figures released by the San Angelo Area Foundation.
The annual 24-hour online fundraising campaign, held May 6, aims to support nonprofits by encouraging regional philanthropy and community engagement. Advanced giving ran from April 22 through May 5.
Among the top-performing organizations were Cornerstone Christian School, which raised $208,000; San Angelo Christian Academy, with $174,366; and Angelo Catholic School, with $169,760. Matching funds played a key role for many groups, with several receiving full matches, including San Angelo Christian Academy and Angelo Catholic School.
On the individual fundraiser leaderboard, Maria Mejia’s “Investing in Reentry: Seeds of Change Grow Here” campaign raised $6,680 for Concho Valley Turning Point.
The foundation noted that all totals remain subject to final verification, including prize awards and amplification funding. Since launching in 2015, San Angelo Gives has generated more than $26 million to support charitable initiatives throughout the region.
