River Fest Returns to San Angelo After Seven-Year Hiatus

SAN ANGELO, TX — River Fest, one of San Angelo’s most popular family-friendly events, will return Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, along the Concho River after a seven-year break.

This year’s event will feature activities for all ages, including youth recreation football, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament at the YMCA, a skateboard competition, a petting zoo and pony rides, and a Vega washer pitching tournament. Food trucks and craft vendors will also be on site.

Live music will take place under the Chadbourne Street bridge. However, due to ongoing construction, there will be no performances at the River Stage.

Additional attractions and schedules will be announced closer to the event date. Admission is free, and the event is open to the public.
