SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Chamber of Commerce has announced its 2025 “20 Under 40” honorees.
The program honors individuals under 40 who demonstrate occupational merit, leadership, and community involvement. This year’s recipients include leaders from public safety, education, healthcare, business, and nonprofit sectors.
Among the honorees are Assistant Police Chief Craig Thomason and Fire Compliance Coordinator Joshua Kemp, both nominated by the City of San Angelo for their professional excellence and service.
Thomason, with more than 16 years at the San Angelo Police Department, trains officers in jiu-jitsu, volunteers for “Shop with a Cop,” and is pursuing an MBA while attending the Command College at Sam Houston State University. Kemp has helped transform the San Angelo Fire Department into a Regional Training Facility, achieving a 99% student pass rate, and was named Firefighter of the Year by Goodfellow Air Force Base. He also serves as vice president of the SAFD Fire Fighters Association
