SAN ANGELO, TX — Dylan Hancock of San Angelo added another major win to his growing rodeo resume on Sept. 13, capturing the all-around championship at the Pendleton Round-Up in Oregon.
Hancock, 21, secured the title by winning the tie-down roping competition with a three-head average time of 30.4 seconds, highlighted by an 8.6-second run in the finals. His performance earned $12,938 in tie-down payouts and the East Oregonian Let ’er Buck Trophy, awarded to the rodeo’s all-around champion.

Competing aboard Kincade Henry’s horse, CD Adrenaline Rush — also named Tie-Down Horse of Pendleton — Hancock continued a breakout season that has included victories at the Horse Heaven Roundup (Kennewick, Wash.), the Canby Rodeo (Ore.), and the Silver Spurs Rodeo (Kissimmee, Fla.).

According to PRCA records, Hancock has earned more than $350,000 in his career and currently ranks among the top tie-down ropers in the world. In 2024, he finished sixth in the world standings and qualified for his first Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, where he placed in multiple rounds and earned over $133,000.
