Spirit Halloween Rises From the Retail Grave in San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Spirit Halloween has opened its seasonal store in San Angelo, bringing costumes and décor back to town for the fall.

The temporary retailer began operations Sunday, Sept. 21, at 4151 Sunset Drive, a space formerly occupied by pOpshelf. The national chain will remain open through early November. 

Store hours are listed as 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.

Spirit Halloween has been setting up temporary shops across the country since 1983. The company also operates a nonprofit initiative, Spirit of Children, which supports pediatric hospitals.

Since its launch in 2006, the program has raised more than $127 million to provide resources and entertainment for young patients and their families.
