Fire Crews Respond to Fire Near Downtown San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Multiple fire units responded Tuesday morning to a structure fire near the intersection of East 3rd Street and North Oakes Street in San Angelo.

Photos from the scene show several San Angelo Fire Department vehicles, including Ladder 1 and Fire Prevention units, blocking access to the area as firefighters worked around a two-story building.

Emergency dispatch audio stated flames were visible on the north side of the building before crews began spraying water.

Streets in the area were temporarily closed while firefighters contained the blaze.

As of late morning, crews remained on scene to ensure the fire was fully extinguished. No injuries or cause had been reported at the time of publication.
