SAN ANGELO, TX — The 22nd Annual Veterans Day Parade will take place in downtown San Angelo this Saturday, November 8, from 11 a.m. to noon, honoring military service members and veterans of all branches and eras.
This year’s theme, “85th Anniversary of Goodfellow Air Force Base,” celebrates the base’s decades of service and contributions to U.S. airpower.
“Join us as we honor and celebrate the service, sacrifice, and courage of all U.S. veterans,” San Angelo Veterans said in a Facebook post announcing the parade. “Let’s line the streets to show our gratitude and respect for those who have defended our freedom. Rain or shine, come celebrate our heroes.”
Although the deadline to participate in the parade has passed, exceptions may be made by the parade coordinator on a case-by-case basis.
